Fire on 17th

During dead week I saw what looked like a house fire. Turned out to be just a shed.
Lots of hose.

Lunar Eclipse

Me and three friends stayed up to watch the lunar eclipse. The clear Texas sky was perfect for viewing.

I combined these frames on the Picnic application on Facebook. It's actually a very useful app.

Still Shots

I've shot a few things for Andy Nelson, a professor and professional photographer at K-State, for the Update magazine class. For these he let me use his Nikon D700 with a tilt-shift lens for the keys (I don't recall the mm, it was f/2.8 though) and a 28-70mm, f/2.8 on the vintage shot.
These are close up keys on an old 30's era typewriter. I love this shot.
This was for a story about a woman who graduated in the 30's. The leather purple bound booklet is the commencement program from 1933. I got to use a soft box light to play around with the different angles of the light.

UNT Football Game

I was able to shoot the UNT vs. K-State game on Nov. 27 at the University of North Texas. It was an experience. I'm glad I had it. I'm grateful for the opportunity.
Daniel Thomas.
That being said, I don't like football. I don't understand football. And I'd rather not shoot football.
